This is a lovely piece ma'am @ngoenyi. I love the part where you stated how a dog used to be your confidence booster whenever you are heading to the farm, lol. That sounds so much like dog characteristic, they protect lives and properties to the best of their ability that is why you can't enter some houses when the owners are not close enough to keep the dogs absent.
