It's the weekend, and once again we're celebrating CATURDAY, that day of posting cat pictures and celebrating our feline friends.

Steem Rising!

I has been fun to watch our native Steem token rise in price over the last few weeks!

But even though it briefly got to near 10x its recent lows, it's still quite a ways off making new highs.

The highest I've personally seen was $4.32, not that long after I started here in March of 2018... sadly it seemed to be all downhill from that point forward.

It's just good to see a reversal of that long downtrend!

To be honest, I'm glad the rise is a little slower than the craziness of late 2017! In a realistic world, it's impossible to sustain that sort of growth... and — predictably enough — everything came crashing back down.

As you can see from the top photo, and the one below, my cat perch is getting pretty torn up and ratty... so I'm just hopeful we can earn enough rewards from a few posts to buy me new one!

I'm thinking I might take a nap...

Anyway, I know a lot of people in our community live in countries where the local economy is really bad, so I very much hope they are enjoying the current situation.

Just a word of advice, though: Save some away while the going is good, because it could start going down again!
