3 Life lessons we can learn from pets: Simplicity, independence and friendship 😸steemCreated with Sketch.

Hello everyone! 👋🏼

As you already know, I'm owning a lovely yellow creole cat that is always making my days, especially during this lockdown time. 🔒 Honestly, I wasn't pretty sure what three important lessons can I learn from cats because they're not as expressive and loyals as dogs. And trust me, I don't know why, but Misulino is different from any feline I could met before. So, let's see.

Lesson No 1: Simplicity

Misulino spends a lot of time by sleeping, eating or grooming himself. Isn't he doing something else? I mean: more interesting. But thinking carefully about it... Aren't we happier by eating something delicious or resting enough if we are feeling so much tired? 😃 Life merely consists in small pleasures like those activities that cats and even dogs are doing by often.

Application of Lesson 1

In this XXI century we can easily get worried by too many things that we'd wish to carry out at the same time. But seeing beyond, not always everything is as essential as a good meal or dreaming peacefully when we have a clean awareness, without unnecessary burdens. I often wish to be like a cat and not just to have to deal with a lot of prejudices of society. 🙄

Lesson No 2: Independence

Cats are the best example for self-care, independently if they're having an owner or not, they're having those habits that always they do, no matter what. And they're also a great hunters in order to catch mice, cockroach and other pests they can eat. So, not always they're needing to get feed by a human (although they're like a hungry bottomless dudes). 😂 And hygienically, they're always focused on cleaning themselves and not being ill-kempt because their constant action of grooming to brush the fur with tongue. Just a cleaning of nose and ears they're needing from our part to properly take care a cat.

Application of Lesson 2

It's always useful to grab good habits since kids in order to avoid dependence from someone else. We have to be able to solve our own problems without recurring constantly to our relatives or friends, by doing the simple things we need to survive by ourselves, just like cats are doing. By learning to cook and manage basic finances, for instance, it's enough to get survived without relying on everybody. 🙆🏻‍♀️

Lesson No 3: Friendship

This one could be applied to any pet. Everybody is needing company and someone to take care of. Despite of their independent condition, cats are lovely friends and Misu is not the exception. 😻 He often to jump over our legs to get closer (and then sleep like a baby) or wait for us at the window every time we go out from the house. Just a good friend can do it and this cat is so fond of us with such a huge confidence. Not any feline is able to do this easily.

Application of Lesson 3

Friends are our best confidents and ways to scape from routine and share a good quality time together, thoughts and emotions. For sure it's something essential for every human being as a social animal, no matter the circumstances. They're over there in good and bad times. 💖

I'm really hoping you liked my content about these important life lessons learned from pets like cats. I'm grateful for such a great opportunity provided by the community of @fur-friends to share about our pets. Thanks for reading. 🤓
