Welcome to the post. Hopefully, all of you will be doing well and enjoying the time with the grace of Almighty Allah. Today, I'm here to be a part of the week 2 contest in the Scouts y sus Amigos community. The topic of this week is quite interesting, Homeless People in My Country. So, let's start the discussion without any wastage of time.

Are there homeless people in your country?

Yes, there lot of people in our country Pakistan who live under the open sky due to the fact that they don't have their own home. There are many cases reported on the daily basis in which such homeless people are seen in different corners, streets, roads, and public places and they are so much helpless that sometimes we have to took pity over them.

It is not the story of only our country Pakistan but it is a bitter reality of most of the under developed and developing countries of the whole world. More than one and half a million people around the world have been reported as homeless. The reasons behind this helplessness is not the only, there are a number of reasons behind this thing.

What do you think is the cause that leads these people to be on the street, homeless and without a family?

As I have already said that there is no a single reason or particular reason behind the helplessness and homelessness of such people. The most important and the most commonly observed reason behind this thing is the poverty. There are number of cases reported in the whole world where the people do not have enough resources and funds to build their own homes.

Many of the people are forced to leave under the open sky and on the roads just because of their poverty. Another important reason behind the homelessness of the people is the emotional damage. The emotional resistance and conditions sometimes make a person unable to get control over himself and in return he prefer to chose this way.

Has the government tried to try or create decent shelters to help these people?

The first and the major responsibility of the homeless people falls on the government. The government of every country of the world should find such homeless people and make effective steps to help such people and make them able to build their own homes.

If I would talk about my own country Pakistan then obviously the government of Pakistan is trying their best to provide shelter to the homeless people and make special arrangements to provide food and shelter to search out such people who are helpless and are forced to live on the roads.

What could you propose so that these people do not remain in this dark world?

There are lot of things that we should consider here are the most important thing is that the government should focus on providing timely shelter and food to such people who become home less due to the environmental hazards. There should be some NGOs working for the welfare of the homeless people so that they do not become permanent helpless.

Besides that the government should focus on providing subsidies and good housing scheme ideas for such people who are homeless and they should also consider the affordability and financial conditions of such homeless people as well. Moreover, good employment opportunities should be considered for the homeless people to find employment and become able to make their own homes.
