SEC - S5W6 My Favorite Games

Hi my fellow steemians,
I welcome you to my blog today. It is the last week of the engagement challenge and I'm delighted to present my entry for this wonderful contest. Today we are talking about our favourite games. Everyone has a favourite game whether he/she plays it or not. Today I will also talk about a game I love so dearly.

To show my participation in this very contest, I'm going to fully attempt the questions given below. Now, let's get started.

My favourite game is called Ludo. This is a board game that is loved by almost everyone. It is a game that is mostly played by friends and families. The Ludo game is also called Pachisi. This game allows people to roll a die and also perform a race to the finish point in other to be a winner.

Every user has four tokens in his or her possession and these tokens are what we use to perform the race. When you can move your tokens from your house to the finish point before anyone else, then you have automatically become the winner of the game.

The instruction to play the Ludo game is quite simple. You need to roll the dice and get a six before you can be able to move your token from the house to perform the race. Also, if another person rolls his dice and the number is counted and if it falls on the same spot as the exact place your token is located, then your token will be sent back home to start the journey afresh whereas the person's token will be removed I.e it has won the race.

The high the number you get when you roll the dice, the faster or longer your token moves to the finish point. Anyone that first finishes sending his/her token to the finish line is the winner of the board game. So people always try to be first to get a six as they roll the dice because only then can they be able to start the race.

The Ludo game is designed to be played by four people or two persons as the case may be. Not more than four people can play the game at the same time. There are usually four houses and it is recommended that everyone should have one. But two people can also play where they will share the house two for each participant.

Currently, we have this board game on our mobile devices and users can play this game with computers as well. So you as a person take two houses and the computer in turn takes two houses as well.

Well, the Ludo game is a game of luck with little skills as well. I said it is a game of luck because toasting a die and getting six as a number is never an easy task. You can't do anything without first getting a six. It requires a little skill in the sense that whenever you are playing it you need to know when to move forward and when to start a journey.

Over the years that I have played the game, I have noticed that you need luck and skills to stand out in the game. Sometimes, I win the game but sometimes times to I lose in the game because I can't say when six is coming.

Ludo is an individual game. As I have stated before, the ludo game has four houses and every person is supposed to be in charge of his or her own. So the game is individual. It is sometimes seen as a survival of the fittest because as you go out, you will have to battle with the other houses and passing them may be an obstacle because the moment theirs gets to the same spot as yours, they win and you will have to go back home.

There are many board games today, but the most effective one and the one people love to play always is the Ludo game. Playing Ludo requires at most four persons and even a single person can also play with computers on their mobile device. The Ludo game is a game where the token race to reach the end.
