Like magnet attracts objects so does our mind. The only difference is that with magnet, its unlike charges, that is negative attracts positive. But in the case of our mind and the law of attraction, positive attracts positive and negative attracts negative...

This means that if we are positive mindset we will always achieve positive results and if we have negative mindset, we've lost even before the challenge started as we will attract negative result.
