How are you all? Hope everyone is well. Alhamdulillah, I am also well by the grace of God. Today I am a villager, the only means of living is made of clay. Which is useful in daily life. Any item made of clay plays a very important role.

Earthenware or Pottery in our present village Earthenware Pottery is the tradition of our rural Bangladesh. In the past there is a wide use and demand of earthenware in Bangladesh. With the touch of modernity, things made of clay are getting lost in the evolution of time. Once upon a time, potters were seen traveling from village to village with pots made of clay. Also, the potter used to be busy all day making pottery. Apart from that, potters used to make pots and pans, dabur-matki, clay banks, show-pieces, jewelry, pitchers, flower tubs, vases, lids, pita-making decorations and various toys.

The traditional clay art of rural Bengal is mixed with the minds of the village people. This art is called pottery because it is made of clay. The main material and material of pottery is clay. Not all soils are suitable for this work but clayey soils are quite sticky and crumbly. But clean clay soil is used for this purpose. One of the traditional industries is pottery and it is mixed with the traditions of village-Bengali. The pot made of clay was in great demand due to its various bahari designs.

Potters are not always busy making pottery. A busy time is spent at the beginning of the season. However, it is not seen at present. In the evolution of time, the tradition of village-Bengali clay art has been lost. In earlier times there was a high demand for earthenware. But now because of the high demand of people on plastic things, people have forgotten the things made of clay. But people are taking these clay items as a hobby.
