Scout is an organization for youth that aims to develop the physical and mental development of the youth so that they can make an important contribution to building society and helping the people in it. So those who can establish themselves as scouts by belonging to this youth organization are respected by all.

Hello friends, I hope you are all well. Today's contest topic is Scout. I still remember when I was in eighth grade and got a chance to go on a three-day scouting campaign as a member of our school scout team. Today I will share all my experience with you through the contest.

Each of the 10 Laws of Scouts has been given to reveal the identity of their association. But the one law that caught my attention the most out of these ten laws is the fifth one, where it says The scout is courteous and chivalrous.

I have chosen this law because I am thoroughly familiar with it. Our school had a scout team, which I later got selected to join. When we had training one day a week, our scout leader always told us to always be polite and loyal to others.

Scouts were asked to come forward to help the most selflessly, especially the elderly, children, and women. We know that these people are somewhat weaker than all other people in society. We were strictly told never to ask for anything in return for helping someone. This matter was very interesting to me, so I caught my attention with this law.

Yes, I have had many kinds of experience with scout teams in my school life, which shows an affinity with the above-mentioned law. When I was in eighth grade, a scout team was announced from our school, and we had to stay at a residential school for three days of camping. I was also selected there, and we were given training about a month before the campaign.

Our scout leader was a very humble and brave man. I saw how hardworking and diligent he was towards his duties. During the campaign, everyone had to wake up at four o'clock in the morning. As a scout leader, he used to wake us all up on time. From here, I learned that a scout is responsible and hardworking towards his work and cares for and respects the good of others.

About 32 schools participated in the campaign. There were a total of 9 people on our scout team, including the team leader. My duty was to bring breakfast for the team, with everyone standing in line. On the second day of the campaign, a scout from another school helped me get breakfast for my team when I stood in line and got into trouble from the crowd. From there, I learned that a scout is the brother of another scout.

We were given only a banana and a piece of bread for breakfast. However, I noticed that no one complained about this. I learned from this that Scouts are thrifty, and they can adapt to anything.

I have a well-known older brother in our area who is a member of the Scouts. He has been appointed as a member of our scout team based in the Chittagong divisional area. And he earned a badge of excellence for his work excellence. He participated in the 10th National Scout Jamboree in Bangladesh in 2022 and earned an Idle Badge from the Chief Guest for his performance there.

His name is Iqbal Hossain Sohail. I have seen him as a very helpful and humble man. Last winter, when he was on training leave, I saw him playing badminton and was amazed at his playing skills. Moreover, he is involved in many social activities.

Among all the Scout mottos, the most notable is "Be prepared." That means scouts have to keep their body and mind ready at all times to perform their duties.

Their minds have to be prepared by discipline and obedience so that they are ready to obey any order because accidents can happen at any moment. They have to know and be willing to do the right thing at the right moment.

They have to keep their bodies active and ready so that they can do anything in any situation.
