Meeting With Regional Scout Leader for Collaboration and Comparative Studies
Every one of us in this life has a dream. We cannot deny that every human being has put their own dreams. We put our hopes, achievements, and aspirations to become someone who is more useful.
Not a few of us also carve their dreams sky high. We dream to achieve a goal. The goal we have dreamed of so far to come true.
We each have a purpose in life, and one of them is to become a more useful human being. In the end, to achieve all that we have to make a mission in this life. There are many paths we must take to get to our dreams.
It's like we are putting together a mission, where you have to put some mission in it. That means we will go through various paths to get to a goal. We have to move and can't stay still until we get to the point we want.
That's the life lessons we get from past experiences. Like me, I ever hoped that someday I would be able to do comparative studies, build cooperation and meet great people. Until without my knowing it, finally what I dreamed of in the past can be achieved now.
It is certainly the result of my hard work and struggles in the past. Persistence, passion and dedication will give us the opportunity to achieve our dreams. One time I had the opportunity to do a comparative study to the provincial capital.
I was one of 6 delegates representing the scout unit in our region. To go to the provincial capital, we had to travel overland for 6 hours using inter-provincial buses. We visited an event organized by the provincial scouting unit.
This is an annual event which is held every month of Ramadan. This event brings together scouts from the level of mobilizers and enforcers throughout Aceh. Participants who attended this event represented the scout units at the district level.
They are the best scouts from various schools selected through a strict selection. In this event they will compete to be the best. There are various branches of competition at stake in this event.
We had the opportunity to visit directly the place where the event center took place. We toured this school area, to see the scheme and map the location of activities. Here we can learn a lot of things to make events even at the provincial level.
Based on the information we got, this event lasted for 7 days and our arrival was on the fifth day. It is unfortunate that we passed several races that had taken place the previous day. At the location of the event we met with the committee.
They immediately entertained us and chatted. It was a good opportunity when we were able to have direct discussions with the great people involved in organizing this event. We also had the opportunity to meet directly with the head of the regional (provincial) kwartir.
At the meeting, we also had the opportunity to hand over a placard as a memento. We also capture this moment by taking pictures with the regional kwartir chairman. It is a very valuable meeting in my life.
At the campsite, we also met a young man who had dedicated himself to volunteering for this event. They are actively involved in being guest guides, directing participants and serving various other interests at the camp site. This meeting is not just an ordinary comparative study, but it is a platform for us to build cooperation with various parties we meet at this location.
I am really very grateful to be able to attend this extraordinary event. I met people I had never met before. It also provides a new interaction space for me to make new friends.
