Welcome to the 3rd week of the engagement challenge. He that gives good advice, builds with one hand. The best advice I would give to you is not to take anyone's advice... Eddie Murphy says.

According to the oxford dictionary, Advice is guidance or recommendation offered with regards to prudent future actions. Just last week, a young boy called me on the phone to seek advice on how to fix his life, but I told him one thing "the best advice anyone can give himself is the advice you give yourself".
He asked how? I felt he didn't understand. I explained further, advice is just a recommendation, it's added knowledge, it's an idea of how you should do your thing.
In most cases, advice is necessary because you can be in a very critical state that only advice can save you but when advice surfaces, it helps boost the person on how he can handle the situation.
Today I saw a movie, a young lady who was in search of a job met a man and explained things to him and this man decided to help her. This man took the young lady to his friend to manage his business. This man accepted this young lady, he liked her so much because she was so dedicated and hard-working.
To cut a long story short, this man finally married the young lady and she moved in with the man and his mom. This young lady always seeks advice from her aunt, and her aunt will always advise her wrongly. When her marriage broke, her aunt abandoned her.
So now from this movie, some people will say they don't need anyone's advice but that's a lie because, at some point in our life, we need that advice, that recommendation, that idea to help us know what to do next.
What is the best advice you have received, who gave it to you? |

The best advice I have received this year was Always stay positive, speak positive, and act positive. This advice came to me when I felt my life was crumbling, I felt I could not get to where I am today but when I was advised and told a lot of stories, I began to see reasons why I must be positive about life.
My friend @ruthjoe is the mastermind behind the advice. She never stopped advising me on what to do even till my next life 😂, that is how much she look out for me. I have received so much advice from her and they are all working for me so well.

My adviser, @ruthjoe is whom I run to when my head is full. She has never been advised wrongly. Each time I get confused about what to do and I call on her, she responds immediately and she never lacks what to say. She's not just my adviser but also my counselor.

I love both. I believe that I cannot just be receiving, I also have to give, so if I get advice from my friend concerning a particular problem that I need to handle and I find someone in that same situation, I guess I should give that same advice I received.
Receiving good advice helps us to grow and go far but you wouldn't want to go far in life all alone, that is why you must give after receiving.

The best advice I have received on Steemit was to be consistent, stay focused, always feed your blog don't leave it empty, and never be discouraged.
My friend Ruthjoe has not stopped advising me. I don't know if she sleeps and wake, new ideas on how and what to advise me will come 😂. She has been my backbone on Steemit.
My second adviser on Steemit is @ubongudofot. This is a man that has never stopped advising me about voting on others' posts. He kept advising me that voting on others' posts and commenting is very important on the Steemit platform.
This advice has helped me achieve 1k+ sp in just 3 months and I will forever be grateful.

Advice is good but good advice is great.
The power of advice can not be overlooked wither good or bad.
But it best to be careful who advices us most times.

Hola amiga, aveces pienso que hay personas que nacieron para dar consejos y ser escuchadas es como si tuvieran ese don jejeje. Este año recibiste este gran consejo sobre mantenerte positiva siempre y es importante aunque aveces los ánimos anden por el suelo nunca debemos desistir y mantenernos positivos antes cualquier circunstancia.

Es ciero que los consejos son importantes e incluso en algunos momentos determinantes, pero tambien hay que saber filtrar estos consejos ya que no todas las personas tienen la experiencia o las mejores intenciones para guiarnos a actuar de una u otra forma.

Hello, the advice helps us to see the light in difficult situations but obviously the final decision is ours. That is why we must be independent in this aspect and not be influenced when making decisions.
