SEC - Season 5, Week 3: My favorite celebration of the year.

Hello and welcome to my block, what a wonderful theme for me to review a meditation of my favorite celebration. It is indeed a good thought for Scouts y sus Amigos to come up with this innovative topic "my favorite celebration in the year" in season 5 week 3 of the steem engagement challenge, I am glad to participate in this contest.

No dispute about the fact that we all do engage in several celebrations within the year which affect us directly or indirectly and some do affect us positively or otherwise, I am not also excluded from this fact. I do partake in different celebrations and as I get older, I keep on discovering new and more annual celebrations. For instance, It was when I turn 17 years old before I discovered the annual young men's masquerade initiation ceremony in my village, my dad asked me to be part, that I will be flogged with 17 strokes of a cane before I will be a full known man in the village. (I will rather turn to a woman than collect that beaten just to see a masquerade), I disagree with that ASAP.

I only partake in celebrations that will add positive value to my life at all times. over the years, the celebration I enjoyed most is my BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. I so much respect that blessed day my Mama push me out of her womb many years ago, I thank God to be me.

Birthday is the day one is given birth to, everyone has his/her birthdate and some different personality date may vary some may be the same. But every human being possesses a unique day which they always remember.

Others celebrate their birthday While some enjoy celebrating others rather than themself, many don't celebrate themselves because they are stagnant in life, they have achieved nothing within the 365 days circle so they have nothing to celebrate. Life is celebrated if you grow and advance with time, celebration of adding a year to your years is not enough but adding value to your aged life matters. This is beyond just saying but has a psychological influence on man.

I see the birthday celebration to consist of the time and period of reflection for the second I start breathing on earth to my current state of being, I respect the day so much.

The meaning of the celebration for me is simply the celebration of life. I see it as counting down my years because I will one day die, but along with all, I always answer this question and checkmate and analyze the current result with the previous one achieved, the questions are; what have I achieved? What impact have I made? In what aspect did I grow or reduce and what part of my life needs improvement and adjustment? I always use my birthday to evaluate my life within a year of success. My birthday means a lot to me.

I know birthday celebrations begin when one is born, but I start celebrating my birthday as well as creating and knowing it significant since I was 8 years old. I set a target and promise myself that if I meet up the target, I will evaluate the achievement on my coming birthdate and celebrate, but if I fail, I won't do what I promise myself. At the end of the day, I met up with my set target of being the best student in my class at 8 years and Since then, I evaluate my success and failure in 360 days. Every success is celebrated and failure needs more hard work.

I was born On 17 July 1992, and two of my best friends are also born on the same date. We usually celebrate our birthday with the less privileged and in orphanage homes. I don't like celebrating my birthday elaborately but I make sure I create an impact on all and myself in the little way I can.

I celebrate my birthday with the less privileged, needy, orphanage, and most importantly people that wish me well. I love sharing my success story with them and assuring them that if u a successful, they can be successful as well. I derive joy from putting smiles on the face of the less privileged.

I use my birthday celebration to evaluate myself, it is very significant and relevant to my life and I never regret who I am and the man I am becoming. I wish to invite @yakspeace @liasteemm and @omerenma
