Are we alone?

Based my own opinion, I would say "NO" we are definitely not alone. The question of whether we are alone is questioning if we humans are the only intelligent specie in the universe.
After looking around and noting that other planets around us are not inhabited and would be inhabitable by humans. Asking whether we are truly alone appears to be a logical question to ask.

What do the evidence say

The evidence suggests that life exists in a number of variety of forms, even right here in our home planet, we are still discovering some forms of life we never thought existed, most of which are microscopic. We have enjoyed being the most intelligent life-form around the block and the thought that there may be others as intelligent or even more intelligent makes a number of people feel threatened. We have scout and discovered some new life forms. I personally love watching such discoveries. But most people in the scientific community are ok with discoveries of lower and less intelligent life forms wishing never to find any that was more intelligent.

What history reveals

While we which to believe in the early man story in history and science, who accidentally discovered the technology he used, there are some archaeological findings that shows that they have been some cultures that had Technology and knowledge that were far beyond their time. most of such often had claims that these technologies and knowledge were handed to them buy a more superior specie.
We discover architectural fits that are beyond our explanations. Some in the area of technology, agriculture and so on.
The jaws in the Bible had sanitary and quarantine laws that were far ahead of their time and they claim it was given by some superior life form. The same applies to the design of the temple they used for their worship.
History suggest that this "foreigners" we able to communicate, some were friendly while others were hostile, due to their superior knowledge and power, they were worshipped. They were able to take up our form and could father children with the help of our women. Their children were unusually strong well suited for bullies.

Recent Activities

Today we call them aliens, and there have been a good number of sightings. They don't show up with wings to rationalize their ability to displace themselves beyond our explanation, they come in flying sorceress , tick-tock with unmatched aerobatic maneuvers often referred to as unidentified flying objects or UFO.
This has become the subject of many movies, subconsciously preparing us to resist an impending alien invasion.

Future possibilities

While some countries have secretly prepared for such possibilities, religious texts like the Bible foretells of a future altercation an encounter a war between human and two seperate groups of aliens there refers to as angels (the good aliens) and demons (the bad aliens)

Conclusion

Whatever naming convention we decide to use, it still points at the same thing. Armageddon or Alien invasion is the same future event, one involving alien forces who have already infiltrate our territory, with advance and superior military might, initiating contact as UFO.
The fact that we are not alone is not a new concept.
