Respect my space is one of the most beautiful phrase which means to me that someone is asking for personal boundaries and privacy to get respect from others and in this way to maintain his all her personal life in which he can give time to himself or herself also.
Respect my space if just like a slogan which is the expression of the needs that someone have in the form of physical emotional as well as mental distance for keeping a kind of distance and peaceful environment from this world as well as it is important to stay away from crowd because you feel honoured when someone give you personal space.
Honestly speaking when I talk about my friend circle and people that surrounds me in daily life they have never say this phrase to me and I have never said this phrase to them because they have never feel and I have never feel any need to say this phrase to each other so this is my personal experience now I am going to generally talk about it.
I think if someone is sensible then he would always know the importance to maintain a balance between togetherness and individuality because it's not something that you want to get rid of someone but sometimes for your relaxation you want some personal space that's why there is always to give personal space to others and to have personal space from others also for your personal satisfaction.
I think it's not true for every time to consider that people who are deciding the personal space are generally feeling in secure but if I say that insecurity can contribute to lack of respect for boundaries then it is very important to understand that every person is unique and every person have their own perspective and thinking so we cannot judge that why someone is not respecting the personal space because it is based on each and every individual personal assumption.
So conclusion is that we should not make any kind of assumption that the people who are not giving respect to personal space are feeling any kind of insecurity because solely based on the behaviour of people towards space we cannot judge that what they have in their heart so we should understand and respect the personal boundaries of each other for the development of healthy relationships in the society rather than making the wrong assumptions about others.
I truly understand the question and I want to say that there are some people who have believe in this thing that when you love truly with someone then you always want to have that person with yourself for each and every second and you don't feel the need to find out any personal space but it is important to remember that mind if every person is not same and it means that everyone don't have same nature there are some people who are very aggressive and there are some people who are ready soft in their nature thats why everyone also have you need needs and boundaries in their relationship so it varies from person to person.
If someone is wanting personal space from that person whom he or she loves then it doesn't mean that he is getting irritated from the person with whom he loves, we can also say about that situation that a person who is doing so is just want to maintain a balance in between his life and he is just asking for personal space so that he may boost his energy levels by making his mind and his body more encouraged that's why it is important to maintain a balance in between both these things so that both partners and both persons feel good and relations become more healthy and successful.
