2. Prevent energy wastage

If clothes are to be washed in the washing machine, do not tumble dry them in the machine, hang them outside in the sun or on a line in the air. To cool the house, increase the temperature of the AC to 25 degrees Celsius or higher. Next time you buy an electrical appliance,Take this to see if the device is energy efficient.Label with energy saving star on the device, eco-friendly means environmentally friendly technology.Unplug the electrical items that are not in use and keep the switch off. You can use solar water heater to heat water.

3. Cut down on meat and become a vegetarian:-

The production of red meat causes significantly more greenhouse gas emissions than the production of poultry, fruits, vegetables or grains. Increase the reliance on vegetables and fruits in the diet instead of meat. If that seems too challenging, you can do your part to protect the environment by reducing your dairy intake. Choose locally grown seasonal food instead of imported food. And avoid food waste.

4. Try to recycle everything—even water:-

We are often told about the benefits of recycling. But the transportation and processing of the materials required to recycle an item consumes a lot of carbon. Yet it uses less energy than making new products. But by reusing the products, many other damages can be reduced. The same applies to water.

We should conserve and recycle water. Especially try to get involved in rain water harvesting.

5. Inform and teach others about:

Spread the word about climate change and educate the general public about it. Work together with others to build a sustainable community lifestyle. Build a partner-based network. So that different resources can be shared and used. It can achieve a green standard of living.

When these changes are practiced by billions of people every day, they can establish sustainable development with almost no impact on their well-being.
