SEC - S8W1. "How much of a scout am I?"

I have never known a person who was a scout. Only my niece, but unfortunately I haven't talked to her much about it, and somehow you can't see the spark of Scouting in her.

So I'll write this post a little differently. I hope this will be accepted and many people will understand my message. I believe these scouting rules should apply to all people, not just to scouting. Every man should hold these principles deep in his heart and live with them for the rest of his life. I think the world would be better then.

1. The scout values his honor in deserving trust.

Very well written. If you are honest with others, then you are honorable and people trust you, and you trust just such people. It works both ways. Imagine - if every person was like that, then in the world help for another person would be on the agenda. That would be beautiful.

2. The scout is loyal.

Loyalty. This is a trait that very few people have nowadays. I can count them on the fingers of one hand. Animals are more loyal, especially dogs.

3. The scout is helpful.

I don't think I have to explain that. Being helpful is also an art. Think about it, if everyone reached out to help selflessly daily, how could the world change in a few years? And, of course, this is combined with honor and trust.

4. The scout is a friend to everyone and a brother to any other scout.

Exactly. Love, loyalty, and brotherhood. That's what we call friendship. Friendship for every person every day. We should learn love and the positive things in life instead of aggression and negativity.

5. The scout is courteous and chivalrous.

This is about real courage. Imagine this story: a young boy is attacked by two people. Passers-by see this and do not help. Suddenly a young boy runs between them and tries to help. He knows he is weak, but he is trying his best. When people see something like this, more people come to help. That's what's missing these days. People are not aware of how much they can do and what power they have.

6. The scout sees in nature the work of God and protects it.

Nature gives us everything. Why do people move to the countryside after living in cities for several years? Mother Nature gives us everything. Food, shelter, and clean air. The whole world should be in balance and harmony. There is also a balance between nature and man. If you are good to Mother Nature, she is good to you.

7. The scout obeys conscientiously, is hardworking and persevering.

You can't do nothing in life. We have to do something. And the most important thing is to do something you love and not forget why we started doing it. It is necessary to strive for the goal and not give up quickly, this also testifies to courage.

8. The scout smiles and sings in his difficulties.

I think this is a good psychological basis. When bad things happen in our lives, we should not think negatively and let our feelings deceive us. You need to think positively, and everything will work out over time.

9. The scout is thrifty, cares for and respects the good of others.

It doesn't really take much to be happy. We do not need fast cars, beautiful houses, etc. It really doesn't take much to be happy. It takes time to realize that. When we are happy, we can share that happiness with others.

10. The scout is pure in thoughts, words and deeds.

He's just an honest man and he does what he thinks is right. He never lies because he knows that telling the truth is always the best.

To summarize:

If all people lived by these rules... The world would be beautiful. In my opinion, every person should have all these qualities and follow these principles. I like each of them, without exception.
