You have started very beautiful, about the concept of death, everyone knew as we created we have to leave this world forever and new eternal life is waiting for us.
Inspite of knowing it we still busybin illusion and enjoyment and forget the aim of life, through the bible verse you explain the death and life concept very briefly.
Definitely you said right we are not prepared for death as we didn't know when its decision hence everyone should do good deeds.
