*SEC-S17W2- "Homeless people in my country ".

In every country, you will always find homeless people and that is how it is in my country, Nigeria, but the rate of it is becoming very alarming because the government is not helping matters at all.

Poverty and u employment are things that make people to be homeless. Sometimes, through fire outbreaks, people lose their properties, and I am very happy to participate in this wonderful challenge.

Yes, they are definitely homeless people in my country who are finding it very difficult to survive and also eat good food because of one situation or the other.
Nigeria is known as a great nation with rich natural resources but its citizens are really going through hell, if not for God I don't know where I will be today because Nigeria is not for the weak.

To survive in Nigeria, you need to be very strong and hardworking because it is not easy at all

I have seen many people who don’t have hoke in my country, Nigeria, and they sometimes sleep on uncompleted buildings, while some sleep under the bridge just to survive.
Some go on the streets to beg for money while others work all day just to survive, I am also showing my little support to people who are homeless because it is not easy at all.

What do you think is the cause that leads these people to be on the street, homeless and without a family?

Sometimes, the cause of this is accidents so that I have seen a man who lost his entire family in a ghastly car accident, and till date, he is still behaving abnormally because he is still shock.

Home training sometimes contributes to this particular problem when you are very lazy and not learning anything nor taking corrections. One day, you will definitely be away from your parents, and you will experience what life is all about, and if you aren't strong enough, you will be homeless, jobless, and useless at the same time.

Poverty contribute to this issue, because when you have money you will be able to take good care of your family but when you are poor it will get to a stage that things will become impossible for you to fulfil and may end up breaking your home.

I have seen a man that got thrown out of his house because he couldn't pay his house rent, he left with his belongings and his entire family they started staying in an uncompleted building because he was releive of his duties at the office and it affected him.

Bad economy in the country contribute to people being on the street homeless without families begging for money, I have interview many of them and they all told me that it was the hardship of the country that brought them to where they are.

Has the government tried to try or create decent shelters to help these people?

Is so sad to say, but I have to say the gospel truth.
My country Nigeria are mot helping matters at all because we have bad political leaders who care only about themselves and their families, friends, and well wishers. So, it makes it very difficult for them to see the suffering of our fellow Nigerians who are homeless.

They was a time that our president gave out huge amount of money to take good care of those who are homeless and the people in charge of the project ate the money without doing any thing, you can see that corruption has really affected Nigeria which is very bad.

What could you propose so that these people do not remain in this dark world?

For me, I will urge the government of my country to try and reduce the rate of corruption and try to help every and treat them equally this way the ra, e of homeless people will reduce.

Creating job opportunities will really help in bringing this set of people out of the dark world.

Opening a small-scale business for them will really help in reducing the rate of homeless citizens.
