Como bien dices, el universo es muy extenso por lo que es muy factible el pensar en la posibilidad de que existan otros seres existiendo en otros planetas, por lo que la idea de los extraterrestres no solo es posible en las películas de ciencia ficción, sino que también puede ser una realidad, así que de ser cierto en algún momento se comprobara debido a los grandes avances que estamos teniendo en materia tecnológica.
