朝鲜今天的贫困是美国造成的吗？

朝鲜这地方，北边靠着两个大哥——中国和俄罗斯，南边则有个“兄弟”韩国，按理来说，它要是好好跟这些邻居们聊聊人生、谈谈理想，美国那点儿制裁估计也就成了纸老虎，威风不起来了。

但美国这制裁，专挑朝鲜的软肋戳。你说制裁奢侈品吧，朝鲜人民可能连啥是奢侈品都还没搞明白呢；制裁核技术和导弹？这跟老百姓锅里有没有米、碗里有没有汤又有什么关系呢？

韩国这“兄弟”，心里也是五味杂陈。本来两家血脉相连，可朝鲜那边时不时往东北倾销点“提神醒脑”的玩意儿，比如毒品和假币，这不是在砸自己的脚吗？韩国估计也在心里嘀咕：“兄弟啊，你这是要闹哪样？”

至于那些想在朝鲜大展拳脚的外商们，更是苦不堪言。本以为能捞点金，结果投资进去，工厂就成了“国有”，有的甚至被扣上莫须有的帽子，成了“阶下囚”。这哪是投资啊，简直就是“投资有风险，入行需谨慎”的生动写照！

俄罗斯看了估计都得摇摇头，心想：“朝鲜兄弟啊，你这投资环境，连我这战斗民族都自愧不如啊！”

所以说，朝鲜这贫困的帽子，戴得也是自己找的。就像有句老话说的：“天作孽，犹可违；自作孽，不可活。”这朝鲜的贫困，也算是自作孽不可活了吧！

Logically, if they just talked to these neighbors, shared a few beers, and hashed out some deals, those US sanctions would be nothing more than a paper tiger, losing their bite.

But the US sanctions, they go straight for North Korea's Achilles' heel. Like, sanctioning luxury goods? North Koreans probably don't even know what a luxury good is. Nukes and missiles? That doesn't put food on the table for the average Joe.

South Korea, their "sibling," is probably scratching their head. They share the same blood, but North Korea keeps dumping some "mind-refreshing" stuff up in their northeast, like drugs and fake currency. South Korea's probably thinking, "Brother, what are you doing?"

And those foreign businessmen who thought they'd make a killing in North Korea? They're crying in their beer. They invested, and next thing you know, their factories are "nationalized," and some even get slapped with bogus charges and become prisoners. It's not investing, it's more like "Investing? Yeah, there's a risk. Better be careful!"

Russia's probably shaking their head, thinking, "North Korea, my friend, your investment environment? Even we, the tough Russians, would be embarrassed!"

So, North Korea's poverty, they brought it on themselves. Like the saying goes, "When heaven brings trouble, you can still avoid it; but when you bring trouble on yourself, you're done for." North Korea's poverty? Yeah, they did it to themselves.
