So I was going to Chinatown after shopping a bit at OG last Saturday. Down the stairs from the overhead bridge. It wasn't very crowded.
那我星期六在奥奇买东西后继续走去牛车水。从天桥走下去看不算很多人。

First stopped for a while to go into this shop to look for the Chinese New Year couplets.
首先停留这家商店里，进去买春联。
Went in and looked around.
走进去看看。
These plush oranges were something I've not see before. At least not with the Chinese words on it

They have many couplets and other decorations available.
有许多对联等装饰。
What's not available is social distancing.
只是没有安全距离。
My wife chose something, paid and we left.
我的妻子选择了的事情，付出我们离开。
There were people walking around but not a big crowd.
有人走动，也不算很拥挤。
There was not suppose to the a Chinese New Year market in Chinatown this year but there were people selling Chinese New Year stuff in the stalls.
今年没用让摆年货摊位但也不少卖年货的在牛车水。
This stall was selling mainly Chinese New Year stuff.
这个摊位是卖主要是农历新年的东西。
This is something not see in Chinese New Year market in the past.
这东西在以往的年货市场没看过。
Lots of face masks design to choose from including Chinese New Year theme ones.
口罩多样化到包括农历新年主题的。
The restaurant on the right was not crowded yet.
右边的餐厅还不是很多人。
We were not eating there so continued to walk.
我们并没有在那里用餐所以继续走。
One stall wasn't opened.
一档没开。
This is one of the streets that would have closed for putting up stalls for Chinese New Year market.
这条街在往年会关闭来摆年货市场的摊位。
The melon seeds and peanuts seller took up a stall to sell their stuff.
卖瓜子和花生拿了这摊卖东西。
The cured meat seller also took up a shop space to sell their stuff.
腊肉卖家也拿了件店铺做生意。
Inside this building, I'm sure there are also shops that would be selling Chinese New Year stuff.
在这牛车水大厦里面，我肯定也有商店出售农历新年的货品。
Smith Street where there are many food stalls; the place we were going for dinner was one of the shops at the side.
史密斯街有许多大排档；我们要吃晚餐的地方是在旁边的商店之一。
