After dinner on Chinese New Year Day 1 and then walkabout around Chinatown, my wife and I were looking for a place to get a drink. Wonder if there would any chance at the food centre at Chinatown. We headed upstairs and walked around. Found a place to get drinks. They have a surcharge of 30 to 50 cents for each drinks. Oh well, let it be. What's another $1 on Chinese New Year.

在年初一，吃完晚餐在牛车水附近走走之后，我和太太正在寻找喝饮料的地方。 不知道牛车水熟食中心是否有可能。 我们上楼去走走。 找到了有卖饮料的摊位。 每杯饮料附加费为3至5毛钱。 哦，算了。 农历新年时间，多1块钱也没啥大不了。

There were not a lot of people there. Mostly concentrated closer to where the opened stalls are.
