Took a bus out to Bishan to meet my wife for dinner after work from home.

She has a membership with Dian Xiao Er and was entitled some food some of which we had consumed at previous visits. She said she still have a quarter duck that will expire in less than a month.

So we headed there on a Thursday evening and there wasn’t a long queue but she already got in before me.

She ordered a few items and the soup and rice came first. The soup was quite good.

Then came the stir fried lotus roots, sweet pea with macadamia and that was nice too.

The duck came last which bit surprised because I thought the duck were just watiting to be served. It was good but I skipped some of the skin even though it was nice and crispy as it was also a bit fatty.

We didn't need to paid for the duck and the dinner came out to about $38
