In this post I will share posts about ginger cultivation. Ginger is one of the herbal plants that have various benefits. Ginger plants can be processed to become herbal medicines and food seasonings.

Ginger is also one of the basic ingredients that are often used in the processing of food seasonings. So, this plant is needed when we cook food. Because it has various benefits and uses, ginger is very much in demand by consumers.

Cultivation of ginger commodities provides an opportunity for us to reap profits. Cultivating ginger does not cost much. There are various planting methods that can be developed when we grow ginger.

We can do planting with the method of planting in the ground or using other media. Planting ginger with a more modern-looking method can produce more tubers. This plant is classified as a tuber plant that can grow shoots and produce shoots that spread.

In this review I want to share tips on planting ginger with the planting method using the Bamboo Woven Pots. Planting this method can produce more ginger shoots than planting it directly in the ground. Here is a detailed review that I share with you.

For planting ginger with this method we need about Rp. 3,000,000 (three million rupiah) which was used to buy seeds, planting media and the first stage of care.

Need

1. Ginger seeds 2 sacks size 15 Kg
2. 100 pieces of Bamboo Woven Pots.
3. Loose soil
4. Rice Husk

How to plant

These ginger seeds are planted in 100 pots made of woven bamboo. This pots can be ordered from bamboo craftsmen or buy used fruit packaging Bamboo Woven Pots in traditional markets. Meanwhile, ginger seeds can be purchased in traditional markets by offering lower prices.

To plant ginger into 100 pieces of the body we need about 2 sacks of ginger seeds. Choose good ginger seeds that are not damaged on the flesh and outside. Choose seeds that are visible with bright colors and visible tips that can grow shoots.

After the elimination and selection of seeds, then the seeds can be cut into short pieces of about 5 cm. Meanwhile, the Bamboo Woven Pots is filled with loose soil that has been mixed with rice husks. Mixing soil and husk aims to make the soil media more friable which can be useful for facilitating the spread and growth of ginger shoots and tubers.

Each body is placed with a distance of about 1-2 meters. 100 Bamboo Woven Pots can require a garden yard of about 20 x 50 meters. Ginger planters should be in an area that can be exposed to the sun but shady or with a cool air level, so ginger is not exposed to direct hot sun contact.

In one body, about 15 ginger seeds can be planted which are placed on the top and sides of the Bamboo Woven Pots. This Bamboo Woven Pots is a must that has a hole on the side which aims to facilitate the growth of shoots and tubers. Each seed is placed spread in a Bamboo Woven Pot that has been filled with soil mixed with husks.

In the early stages of the planting period, it is better to regularly water every afternoon. Ginger planting does not really need fertilizer, but we must avoid pests and diseases that can attack ginger shoots. After one week of planting, ginger shoots began to appear to grow.

The next treatment is to keep this pot clean from grass and insects. In addition, we must continue to water regularly until we enter the first month of planting. Meanwhile, also check the acid level and soil temperature so that it is stable with cool air.

Growing ginger with this method is very easy. You can plant ginger using sports media in your yard even though it is not so wide. Ginger prefers to grow in loose soil in areas with shady air.
