Cultivation of "Zépherine Drouhin" Roses in the Home Garden

In this post I want to share about rose plants. I really like flowering plants, especially roses. Roses have beautiful and dazzling colors, I really really like them.

While visiting a relative's house at a feast, I found roses growing in his yard. Roses grow on the edge of his front yard along with other types of wild plants, such as grass and ornamental plants. This is a type of rose plant with pink flowers.

This rose plant thrives in a pot placed in front of his yard. The existence of roses makes his home page more colorful and beautiful. This pink rose looks so beautiful and charming, that I am very interested to see it more closely.

To note, the rose plant is a type of plant that belongs to the Rosacaea family. Roses are categorized into shrubs and thorns belonging to the genus Rosa L. Roses can usually grow up to several meters high with sharp thorns that follow on each stem.

This rose plant has reached a height of about 50 cm and seems to be growing well through potted planting media. In Indonesia, roses can thrive because they are in a tropical climate. The cool air, especially in the tropics, is an area that is easy to grow this plant compared to other regions.

In the Acehnese language this plant is called "Bungong Mawoe". Rose plants can grow easily in pots without requiring extra care. The trunk of the tree is round with a small size, barely even the size of a human finger.

The size of the leaves looks small and grows all over the stem with the dominant light green and dark green colors. When holding this plant we need to be careful, because there are sharp and strong thorns attached to the stem. Roses have flower petals that grow tightly on each strand.

Each stalk can grow leaves up to 7 leaflets that are opposite each other. If you look closely, the leaves of this plant are oval in shape and have a leaf bone in the middle. Rose plants that live in Southeast Asia, the leaves can be green all the time.

There were a number of flowers that had already bloomed and some that were still growing with their petals still tightly closed. This rose that has bloomed has a very beautiful color, each flower consists of 3-5 petals that coincide with each other. Pink roses are believed to have an aura of beauty, elegance and tendernesses.

Usually, roses are planted in the home garden as ornamental plants. Roses are usually also used on sacred events such as weddings which symbolize love and affection. In Indonesia there are also those who bring roses when visiting graves.

For some people, roses are even believed to give a certain energy that can give them an aura. However, the truth about this myth depends on the beliefs of each individual. Apart from the supernatural and spiritual energy of culture, roses still look beautiful even though they are used for various aspects of interest, because roses have elegant colors and attractive petal shapes.

To plant this plant, an old stem is usually taken and planted in a pot. Old stems can produce new roots and leaves if planted in a fertile planting medium, either fertilizing or watering. Caring for roses is not so difficult, the most important thing is that the stems are planted in fertile soil and watered to easily bring out new roots.

Plant pests may be able to attack rose plants, generally roses are attacked by leaf diseases. The leaves of rose plants that are attacked by the disease have a dark color and look like rust. Pests and diseases make the leaves of rose plants with holes, besides that rose plants may also be attacked and eaten by insect species.

One of the treatments to maintain the quality of the leaves is to spray insect repellent and leaf vitamins. Roses have a thick, fragrant and distinctive smell. Usually, the rose flower plant business person can also process it into fragrance ingredients, such as perfume, lotion, soap, up to lipstick.

However, the majority of flower lovers only plant it as an ornamental plant to beautify the garden. The beautiful color of the roses and the appearance of the petals are so bidding that it is quite an alluring attraction. Because besides that, roses are also believed to be a certain symbol that is adjusted to the color of the flower.
