Good afternoon my beloved steemit-Garden friends, wherever you are I hope you are doing well, this afternoon I spent time caring for flowers and also planting some useful trees, apart from planting beautiful flowers to beautify my home page, I also tried to plant something important and useful for me and my daily life, where these are the spices we need in daily life for cooking, with a not so wide yard I also try to plant some useful trees such as chili, onions,white ginger, red ginger, turmeric and also papaya tree.
Shallots are a spice that we need every day and even must be there for processing spices or for sautéing vegetables and also for making decorations on food, cooking without onions will not taste good, by planting shallots we can also save a little money on our groceries, although not a lot but I think it would be very nice to be able to experience the fruits of our own garden.
For how to plant ginger what I do is first I soak the ginger with warm water at night, and in the morning put it in the ground and wait for the ginger to sprout.
After the ginger sprouted then I cut some parts of the sprouted ginger for me to plant into polybet you can also plant it in a pot, for maintenance it is very easy you just need to water it every day.
To plant a chili tree, I just prepare the old chili seeds to the ground, after a few days the chili seeds will grow by themselves, and for maintenance it is still the same you only need to water it every day, to plant chili trees I use soil fertilizer from cow dung because it is very good for plant growth.
For the papaya tree that I plant is still the same as planting a chili tree I just sow the seeds then the papaya tree will grow by itself, for the papaya tree I only water it when the tree is still small so it can grow well, after that a large papaya tree does not need special care and can live well without being watered again, papaya fruit can not only be eaten when it is ripe, but flowers and young papaya when cooked are delicious to make spicy sour sauce.
