Eggplant
Fresh eggplant or brinjal as we call it in our native tongue , freshly plucked from the garden. In our native there is a superstition not to plant eggplants inside the home boundary area or so as to call the gardens which is a part of home. It can only be planted in the fields or some place that can be called a field. This is the one which has a greenish tint. There are other varieties which are maroonish or black in colour. Depending on the eggplant being circular or not it can be used to cook vegetable curry or a chutney as we call it in native language. Either ways both are tasty.

Many times I have tried to understand the reason but understood none. I have asked so many people. I believe it is just like a superstition which came through generations, it wasn't being done by someone else why should we do it kind of mentality. But if i get to know from someone , will surely post here.
