Beautiful Autumn

This is with regards to the new contest posted in the @steemit-garden.Now in my area there are not many trees which you would call ornamental trees or all the beautiful ones with all colourful leaves and fruits during autumn but that should not deter one from exploring, isn't it?. So, here i go.

So we all have seen green leaves of rose tree but have you ever paid close attention to notice the red leaves. If you have, you have the eyes of a true gardener and if not, well no worries we all learn with the journey.I explored a little to find out that this is due to a pigment called anthocyanins. These anthocyanins protect the tender young rose plants from damage caused by UV rays.

Another plant with red leaves you are wondering? Here you go. Mango.The reasons same as above, presence of the anthocyanins pigment.It keeps them protected from the UV rays until they are mature enough to have enough chlorophyll to cook their own food. Unique.Autumn is their growth season and you will find many leaves like these.

Third on the list is Malti or Rangoon creeper is a tropical vine well known for its shading changing sprouts and intense propensity.The Rangoon creeper is a ligneous vine that can reach from 2.5 meters to up to 8 meters. These plants also have medicinal values and are natural drugs used to remove parasitic worms to battling nephritis and many others.While it flowers multiple times in a year, autumn is the perfect.

Fifth one on the list is Clitoria ternatea, commonly known as Asian pigeonwings, bluebellvine, blue pea, butterfly pea, cordofan pea and Darwin pea, is a plant species belonging to the family Fabaceae.It is a perennial herbaceous plant, with elliptic, obtuse leaves. It grows as a vine or creeper, doing well in moist, neutral soil. It has culinary use, traditional medicine and textile use.
