One of our neighboring brothers planted vegetable seedlings on a small amount of land on his own initiative. Now his seedlings are very big and he sells vegetables to his neighbors in the village. And taking vegetables to eat at home. I myself am trying to explain about the cultivation method of Puishak.
What is Puishak?
Puishak has made one of the most important contributions to our country as a vegetable. Pui is a type of climbing plant. Its leaves and stems are eaten as vegetables by all the people of our country. Puishak Bhaji is loved by people of all regions.
Land preparation and planting:
The land should be well tilled before planting Puishak seedlings. Cultivation should be done in such a way that the soil becomes rough. After that, the land should be leveled with a ladder and the saplings should be planted in it. Puisha should plant the saplings in such a way that one sapling does not stick to another sapling.
Fertilizer application:
Dung fertilizer and TSP fertilizer should be applied during land preparation before planting of Puishak seedlings. At the time of sowing, the remaining half of the fertilizer should be applied to the pit. But Puishak grows well in winter.
Irrigation and drainage:
Puishak seedlings do not need water or irrigation during monsoon. But if the soil juice is dry or not, then irrigation must be done and the soil should be loosened.
Weeds and weeds:
If the weeds are cleared, the seedlings will be weed free. This will result in a change in the vegetation. However, we cannot always allow water to accumulate at the base of the plant. If water accumulates at the base of the plant, the seedling will rot. Many times when it rains, it is seen that the soil at the base of the tree is washed away. So after the rain, the roots of the trees should be pressed with soil.
Benefits of Puishak:
Puisha is rich in fiber, which relieves constipation. Vitamin A and Vitamin C present in Puisha removes skin pathogens, helps in physical growth. Keeps eye sight good, also strengthens hair.
