Our next door neighbor planted pepper seedlings in his own land. He first collected pepper seedlings from the market. After bringing the pepper seedlings home, he cultivated the soil of his land well.

He cultivates in such a way that the soil becomes rough. Then he applied dung manure, compost manure, urea and potash to the land before planting pepper seedlings and planted pepper seedlings.

Seedling production method:

For good seedling, seedling should be grown in the first seedbed and transferred to the second seedbed. Each seedbed is 1 meter long or three and a half feet wide and 40 cm long according to the length of the land. or 16 inches high. Sand and compost or dry rotted dung manure should be mixed in the soil above the seed bed and taken thoroughly.

Pepper plant care:

Waterlogging can kill plants; So make sure to drain excess water from the tub. It is very important to keep the soil moist while the pepper plants are growing. Adequate light, air and water are required to grow pepper plants. Place them on the roof, balcony or in a sunny spot next to a window.

Before sowing chilli seeds, the seeds must be soaked in water for 24 hours. Generally, the suitable time for pepper cultivation is May-June. Besides, chilli seeds can be sown in the month of October at the beginning of winter. Sowing seeds at this time gives good yield of pepper.

Applying fertilizer to pepper plants:

20-25 days before planting pepper seedlings should be mixed with gorabsa soil. 10 tons of dung, 250 kg of urea, 200 kg of TSP and 150 kg of MOP fertilizer should be applied per hectare. 50 kg of TSP, cow dung and MOP fertilizers are applied during land preparation.

Marketing:

This neighbor of ours sells chillies from his house to the neighbours. He also earns money by selling his chili in the market 2-3 times a week. By doing this, he is saving money from the sale of chillies at home and spent the market for the house.
