Assalamu Alaikum, dear fellow bloggers, how are you all? Hope all is well with the infinite grace of Allah. I am also good by the grace of allah.Today, after a long time, I am going to present about the date palm in my favorite steemit-garden community. I hope everyone will like it inshaAllah.

Today is Saturday. On my way to my grandfather's house, I was surprised to see a palm tree growing on the side of the road. The date palms that I saw on the side of the road were getting a lot of date fruits. In our country, the cultivation of date fruit is never like that.

Then there are the date palms that can be seen on the streets in our country. It was not possible to take care of these trees in such a way. However, in our country, an expatriate brother was in charge of caring for date orchards in Saudi Arabia for probably 2-3 years. After being in charge of the garden there, he started cultivating dates in our country. Now he is known as a successful date farmer.

What is a date palm:

The date palm is a kind of palmless branchless tree. The scientific name of the date is Phoenix dactylifera. It has been cultivated in our country for many years as a sweet and sweet fruit.

Method of planting date palms:

Holes need to be made for planting date seedlings. The hole should be made in such a way that it is 3 feet deep, 3 feet long and 3 feet horizontally. We have to add poisonous pesticides so that the insects attack the soil and do not eat the roots of the trees.

Fertilizer management:

A small amount of soil should be dug at each root of the date palm and organic manure and bone powder should be given. Moreover, dung manure should be mixed in that hole. 10 to 15 days after planting the seedlings mixed fertilizer should be sprayed from a distance.

The benefits of dates:

Dates are rich in potassium and sodium to reduce high blood pressure in the body. If there is bad cholesterol in the body, it removes it and increases the level of good cholesterol in the body.
