Introduction to Calendula Flowers:

Calendula is a winter seasonal flower. People sometimes forget about calendula and think of it as a xenia flower. It is a species of southern Europe. Its cultivation has started in our country. It is quite suitable for the climate of Bangladesh. The English name of the calendula flower is Calendula, Pot marigold.

Scientific name: Calendula officinalis.

Calendula flower tree :

Calendula can be grown anywhere. Calendula flowering shrubs can grow up to 30 to 60 cm tall. The leaves are long, rough, hairy and sticky. The large flowers, about 10 cm wide on the stalk, are flattened, in pairs. Flowers upwards and on the head of the stem. It looks like a sunflower but is small in size. In England, calendula flower petals were used to make perfumed soaps.

Benefits of calendula flowers :

Its use as a medicine as well as beauty. Calendula flower tea is very useful in controlling fever and reducing pain. It is used for skin. Calendula flower tea is also very helpful in seasonal stomach ache and cold sore in girls.

It is also used in the treatment of traumatic diseases and wounds.
