Palm Trees and Cacti Park in Nong Nooch // CLUB75

Greetings to the wonderful community Steemit-Garden! Today I continue my story about Nong Nooch Park, which is located in Thailand.

Last time I told you about the French park, which strongly resembles Versailles, and today I will start with a garden of palm trees. This garden is called the "Blue Garden" and it includes about 1000 species of palm trees.

In total, there are 2,700 species of palm trees in the world, so we see that Nong Nooch Park has a third of the world's species of these plants.

Squirrels and birds live in the crowns of palm trees. It is said that the collection of Nong Nooch palms is the largest in the world, and it is increasing every year, because the owners of the park have an ambition to collect all the palm species in the world here. A large share of the income of the owners of the park is associated with the sale of palm trees.

You can also take a walk in the cactus garden at Nong Nooch. There are huge cacti and cacti of unusual shapes. Some cacti bloom, others do not. They say that all the cacti of the planet are collected here.

In this climatic zone of high humidity, it is quite strange to see cacti, because their habitat is arid places. I personally don't like cacti, but it's impossible not to fall in love with these, they are so unusual.

Not far from the cactus garden there is an amazing pond in which huge fish called arapaima live. Their body length can reach about 3 meters. Those who wish can feed these fish, but you need to make sure that they do not eat you at the same time.

To avoid being eaten, you need to feed the fish correctly: tie a small fish to a stick and show it to the fish. The fish will stick out of the water and grab its prey. Stand firmly on your feet at this moment. I was not eaten.
