Steemit Engagement Challenge S11W3 - “Steemit Iron Chef. Food TV Program”
Greetings everyone, I'm so glad to take part in this contest and also know that the community is planning a food TV program. Seriously it's a nice idea and it will make us learn a lot from different chefs across the world.
What has been your favorite food TV show of all time, the one you remember watching as a child with your mom or your grandmother, or what is your current favorite and why is it?🍲
One of the things I love doing since I was a child Is cooking and up till now cooking is part of me. As for food tv shows, I often watch different food tv shows within and outside Nigerian chefs. But the one I enjoyed the most was the food tv show by one of the great chefs in Nigeria called. Gina Ehikodi oja.

She started her TV food show in 2013, and she named it “Foodies and Spices” She is very creative in cooking and she also comes up with different recipes that make me watch her TV show every day, anytime I'm home I always enjoy watching her cooking skills and I must say that I have learned a lot from her show, she is indeed a very nice chef filled with food creativity.
Do you think that TV shows are an attractive way to learn new recipes or cooking tips? give us some reasons.🍲
Ooh yes, it is a very nice idea. Seriously a food TV show will make one learn a lot of recipes from others and it will assist one to learn the recipes fast because it's practically done not just snapping the steps of how the meal is being cooked. So I think through TV shows one will learn new recipes and cooking tips from others.
Sometimes reading through steps on how to prepare a meal is tiring to me but once it's been practicalized during the show it makes me learn fast and also understand how the food is being cooked.
At what time would you like us to be on the air, and what would be the type of food that would most attract your attention to learn on your favorite food tv show, desserts, snacks, savory meals?🍲
While it depends on how the community wants it, left for me I suggest evening time during weekends like Saturday or Sunday. But if the show will be done every day then it should be done in the evening by 4:00 pm if it will be convenient by everyone.
The food that attract my attention to learn during the TV show is good meals prepared from different countries. I'm so much interested in learning different recipes because I dont want to limit myself to only Nigerian recipes, I will also love to learn other recipes as well.
Be it desserts, snacks, or savory meals, I'm so much interested in learning about them.

The quality of a chef to attract the attention of his public are numerous among which are:
- A chef must be needed and also decorate her kitchen in such a way that it will attract the people watching the show.
- A good chef must have a passion for cooking and also he or she must have stamina.
- A chef must be very creative in his or her cooking skills. Also skilfull in multitasking
- A chef must learn how to work with a team and also, he or she must learn how to manage time during the show because most people dont like spending much time watching one thing.
- To make the show more interesting, the chef must come up with unique and good recipes across the world. That will make people want to watch the show.
Finally we allow you to create a name for the food program on Saturday night, what would you call it? What kind of food would you focus on?; it might as well be u, preparations for a special event, cooking tips, or any subject related to food, not necessarily the preparation of a recipe.🍲
If I should create a name for the show, I will call it “ iron chef food hands show” The reasons why I added the hands there is because it's not a one-person show but it needs teamwork in other to achieve it, since it's a community show and all the chefs will be taking part in the cooking show as well.
Well, the kind of food I will focus on, is how to prepare some dishes from my country and also I will talk about some cooking tips and also how to make use of the kitchen, alongside kitchen rules and regulations. Because I believe so many people are not aware of the kitchen rules and regulations.

In conclusion, a TV show will be very attractive and I will be glad to learn different cooking tips and recipes from other chefs worldwide.

It's good to watch some more television programs when it comes to friendly food because we can take notes and then prepare the specialty that we like the most to try to do something different at home.
The best thing is to practice the recipes well step by step because not all of us get the idea just by reading, it would be great to learn food from different countries in a comfortable schedule.
I think that a plate shouldn't just be about placing the food and it should already be decorated to steal the attention of the entire public.

Congrats @yakspeace. It's easier to capture full details from the TV chef than snapping like you said. One may not actually pickup while snapping, but the P2P aspects of learning makes it simple and catchy.
