STEEMIT IRON CHEF COMMUNITY : Application for the Communities of the Month Support Program - September 2021
Hello Steemit Team!
Greetings of the day from Mauritius!
I would like to start this post/application by first of all to thank everyone behind this great project! The support that we are receiving from the curators has really done so much good at many levels for the whole Steemit Iron Chef Community!
I am attaching our application for the month of August for reference - FYI Steemit Iron Chef was among the lucky ones by being selected for the Booming accounts support!

But Now...we want that BIG PART OF THE CAKE!!!
SIC DESERVES IT AND IS READY FOR IT!!!
My application will be like a walk through to the different amazing things that happened since we started to receive the booming support...now just imagine if we get the @steemcurator01 support!!!
I will try convince the Steemit Team to select SIC in the top 6 this time and will explain why we need this and how much change this can bring!

Subscribers...15% Growth Since last Application!!!
Numbers speaks by themselves...we have been growing at an amazing pace since we started receiving the booming support.
This clearly shows that we need to think more on how we can reward our quality bloggers to keep them active!
We were at 710 subs last time out!
Community Purpose
SIC's Community Purpose is UNIQUE in the blockchains world...we've only seen the first act...
Just imagine what's coming up in the other acts (Surprise for now!)...and how great things we can do with this Steemit Iron Chef Community on a global scene...
But all depends on the support from the Steemit Team...
The Goal...The Dream...The Plan...The Road Map!!!
The main goal of SIC is known to all...Build into a big active foodies community where you get to share your best food creation of the week based on the theme!
All subscribers have only one shot each week... They are all doing top of the top food posts each week!
I am over satisfied with SIC Community - It is going in the same direction I've been wishing!
The plan...
Simple plan, no need to make huge and complicated things..., simple plan...get to that 100K SP soon...to be able to give more to our active members!!!
I've made a small simulation to see what it will mean to have 100K SP as support...Hmmm over 2.15 Usd value x 10 Per day...
This is nice for a start and if we are in the top 6...we can achieve this number quickly!

THE DREAM!!!
I truly believe that SIC is making the whole foodies community and all Steemians in general very proud...I can confirm that we are unique in the food quality we are delivering each week...
And as our members have only one chance of posting per week...they will always deliver their best to earn the nice rewards waiting for them!
Now if we get this sum delegated...500K SP!!! Yes this is our dream...

Ahhh with 10 daily 100% votes of over 14Usd...the community will run so smoothly and we will make so much noise on the blockchain world!
Possibilities are unlimited for SIC
Last time I was thinking about having a live Steemit Iron Chef competition...or even better, the best of the best steemit iron chefs meet in a country somewhere and we have Steemit Sponsored food Contest...
I think all of these are feasible and will make so much good for the platform in general!
Another Important thing...
I wish to add this very important thing about future plans of SIC...
Once the community is of a nice size + good support, I will kick off something completely new where I will encourage Iron Chefs to go meet chefs/owners of restaurants they know and try convince them to sign up and join us on Steemit...
Just imagine the buzz if we manage to get a star or two among them...@progressivechef also has some good contacts with many top chefs...But before launching this, we need to have that retention power in our hands first!
SIC is backed by a professional in the field!
This is what makes the SIC a community where everyone who enters to post are always doing their best they can to try seduce the real chef - who is backed by 19yrs of experience in the culinary field and having worked in the world top hotels and restaurants...So he knows everything about food and cooking contest!
With the help of the main curator, SIC will definitely grow bigger and will be able to sustain itself after some months for sure...
Let's look at some numbers to see how we are progressing in the same vision as the Steemit Team has thought...
Voting Power : From 0.10 USD to 0.17 USD!!!
Last time, just before that we started to receive booming support, @progressivechef's full voting was weighting around 0.10 USD, and all valid entries are voted at 100%...
Now = Over 0.17USD and keeps growing!!!
If we are selected in the top 6...I let you imagine how big SIC will be...
2000 Steem Powered up!!! More support = More Powering Up!!!

When we combine my account and that's of @progressivechef, we are looking at crossing the 10K SP in the days to come...
This one is for Progressivechef - Over 9275 SP
My account is here, I will be canceling the 2 delegations out and concentrate all SP for SIC Community mainly!

Plagiarism And Abuse
The tough rules and guidelines of our community makes it difficult for someone to do these things!
We are a group of foodies who are always supporting each other and welcome only those with positive minds!
In a big picture : PLAGIARISM AND ABUSE IN ANY FORMS ARE NOT TOLERATED!!!
Engagement & Commenting
Just a simple look at the posts in SIC will give you an idea...
Yes...we are a very active community and most of our members are interacting with each other.
The Chef himself is engaging with all participants...if I am not mistaken we are among the most active and most commenting community based on our subs number!
Promotion
With additional support, every members will have to share their entry/post on Twitter to get validated for votes and prizes...
Those sharing on other social media channels like Facebook, Youtube or Instagram will be rewarded more.
As mentioned above, we will work hard to grow further and then kick off our campaign to bring on more top foodies in SIC!
Final words...
To end this application, I would like to add that whatever may be the selection, we will keep on doing our best in maintaining the high standards that we already have in SIC...
We are here to grow...and we are growing...**but it can accelerate 4-6 times more if we are selected to get the bigger support!
We are ready and deserve that big part of the cake!!!

This is the truth. I can attest to that. I am a newcomer to Steemit and this community. This is by far one of the best communities you will find. Bonus is that @progressivechef is a great person too. SIC deserves support from the community.
