SEC/S16-W6: "The dish that makes me happy"
Greetings friends, once again I came to participate in the challenge inside Steemit Iron Chef Community |
---|
Before participation I would love to invite @sampabiswas, @anasuleidy and @rubina203 POST LINK |
---|
Various foods are there, which makes me happy, but genuine happiness comes when we cook food for someone who relishes it by heart!
Today, I am here to share a food;
that is often made in Indian cuisine but in a different way. Because nowadays most people are health conscious.
What is that dish that you always make at home that makes you happy? |
---|
(Dahlia khichdi with omelette😋) |
---|
As I stay alone! I always prefer to make those dishes that are easy to make and healthy.
Among many others, I often prepare
- Easy to prepare.
- Good for the digestive system.
- Taste is like heaven.
- Good for those who want to reduce carbs in their diet chart.
Do we need anything more in a dish?
What ingredients or culinary techniques make this dish special to you? |

Let me share a real story,🤫 and then you all will get the above answer. It was the time, before the first lockdown in 2019 January
At that time, @sampabiswas was working under me in the corporate sector(where we first met with each other).
However, with time, all my associates adored whatever I cooked and carried in lunch. Sampa was a bit possessive about me;
However, one day, I made this khichdi a large quantity;
so that all can get that in a small portion at lunchtime as they also carry their lunch with them.
After reaching the office, I took out my lunch box and announced that I bought broken wheat khichdi for all!
Then, we were busy with our official duties. At lunchtime, Sampa, without saying anything, pulled a chair and didn't spend any time!
She just opened my lunch box and started consuming khichdi!
Neither did she look right or left;
she didn't bother about who was noticing her!
Once she was pleasantly consumed herself;
stated that the remaining khichdi all can have now!🤭
What to say? What to do?🙄 I was looking at her, and other associates were aware of her possessiveness;
So they kept quiet!
If you could share this dish with one person, who would you choose and why? |

After reading the story you all might understand with whom I am going to share the dish. She is none other than @sampabiswas.
Over the phone whenever she got to know that, I prepared this khichdi. She suggested I must keep a portion for her in the refrigerator. Hehehe! 🤣
That was all from my side. I hope you all enjoy reading my contest. If so then don't forget to share your views through comments.
¡Saludos amiga!🤗
