Steemit Open Bar 🍸| Flower and Leaf Tea

These ingredients, aside from having good nutritional values fit for a healthy drink, is also aromatic and flavorful combination. Think of nutty, vanilla-ish essence in the pandan infusion with the hint of sweetness and flowery with the butterfly pea flowers infusion.

What i used:
Pandan Leaves, 1pc roughly torn
Butterfly Pea Flowers, 10-12pcs dried
Calamansi, 1pc sliced
Water, 400ml
Sweetener, (optional)

I didnt use any sweetener in this but you can add any of your choice. Whats also good about this tea is you can have it hot or iced. Plus it is easy to do.

Bring the water to a boil with the leaves and flowers in for 5mins. Turn off and steep for another 5mins. I dont have a strainer but the french press works well in this. Pour in a glass or cup. Add calamnsi or lemon/lime and your choice of sweetener. For cold drink, chill for a couple of hours then, add ice and sweetener.

When the butterfly pea flower is infused with water, the color is extracted and it gives us a blue color. It changes to indigo to purple colors. When you add any citrus fruit the Ph level changes thats why the color changes. Watch it change here
