Today I am here to participate in steemit engagement challenge season 9 week 6. the theme of this week is accident or incident in the kitchen". It is a very unique theme and I appreciate this contest concept because through this we will come to know about many accidents or incidents which happed with us in our kitchen and it will help us to avoid such type of accidents. That's why I am going to thank to all of the team member of #Steemit-ironchef community for giving us the opportunity to share our kitchen incidents. Not everything is perfect, even the best chef can have an accident or incident in the kitchen.

I agree with this statement. One can not deem that he or she will not face any accident. Today I will be sharing an incident that happed with me more than 6 years ago. Yeap, it was many yeats ago but still I remember that incident. That incident could have been an accident or a disaster. It was evening. My elder sister and her two babies and I were at home. My elder sister was praying Maghrib. After making snacks I left the kitchen but after a while I went to the kitchen and saw smoke and fire coming from there. I went one step into the kitchen and saw that the fire started from the iron pan I was using. Both smoke and fire are coming out of that pan.

I was very scared to face such a terrible situation. I screamed in fear. Its clear that I could not handle that situation alone. Hearing my screams, my elder sister rushed to the kitchen and she very intelligently managed the situation immediately. So, yeah, my elder sister helped me to slove that.

The reason behind this incident was not turning off the stove after finishing cooking. The pan heated up in the heat, causing smoke and fire. My sister quickly switched off the stove and removed the pan from the stove. Then my sister lock the gass supply from gass cylinder and keep the children away from the kitchen.

Yes, this anecdote leave me a bad memory. There are no reason to laugh lot tby remembering this incidents. I result of that incident could be very dangerous. Not only for me but also for the people lived in that building and surroundings. There was a gass cylonder beside the stove and if fire touched that we would faced a terrible situation. Allah safe us and we were blessed. Whenever I think about this incident I get very scared. It was a terrible event in my life that still scares me when I think about it.
