RE: Daily menu delicacies // Thursday July 23|| Eating delightful meals
Okay, let me compare Nigeria to South Africa.
Yellow biscuits - Are what we call "cream crackers" in SA. We don't take them with tea, but normally with a salty spread, cheese, fish paste, or even an egg with mayonnaise.
Peak milk - First time I hear about it. In fact, I've never seen sachets of powder milk in bigger boxes.
Spaghetti - Also LOVED by South Africans
Corn on the cob - YUMMY! I also love it. With a braai (barbeque), we will even wrap them in foil with salt and butter and then put them on the open fire
Garri - I've read about it plenty of times, but I have yet to eat it. Maybe one day when I visit Nigeria.
Thanks for the invite, and good wishes for the contest!
