My warmest greetings to everyone in this nice community. I hope you're all having a good day. My day was hectic but I'm relaxed now to share my post on Power up brought to us by @steemit-ironchef.

Steem is an important asset you have to try to earn, and that happens when you make quality posts, engage on others posts and upvote posts, then, you might get an upvote that pays out every 7 day and drops into your wallet as Steem.

Now, using your Steem to power up, it turns to steem power and that's storing your Steem in a wallet. When you power up, it adds a good advantage to your wallet. Which helps us over time to able to grow, have voting power and also from our choice of community, delegate to the community's growth.

Step-by-step process of power up

My current Steem power in my wallet is 276.787 Steem power and this will increase when I power up what's in my Steem wallet.

My current Steem is 21.633, and I will power this up to add it to my Steem power.

• There's a small incomplete arrow beside the Steem, click on it and it'll show you options like market, power up, trade, transfer, transfer to savings.

• Click on the power up write up and it will take you to another page where you have to input the amount of Steem you want to power up.

• It's a Transfer to Steem power page , I inputted my Steem amount which is 21.633 and clicked on the power up button below. It will take you to a page they call confirm transfer to vesting.

• In this page, you're shown the transaction you want to carry out, you'll see where you're transfering from, where you're transfering to, the amount and then memo is added. Click on the okay below and continue.

• When you're done confirming the details in transfer to vesting page, you'll be taken to sign to complain transfer page to input your active key or owners key, but I used my active key and the clicked okay. Within seconds, you're transaction will go through and you'll see the amount you've powered up in your Steem power.

And that's all for that.
My previous Steem power was 276.787
Current Steem was 21.633

After power up, my current Steem power is 298.420.
