Hi, dear SIC fellows!
Today I'm happy to join the New Weekly Dynamic in the Steemit Iron Chef, Community with these delicious baked chicken & potatoes I made for lunch yesterday. Today is Tuesday, and the topics our dear @elianisa09 will be checking out are #sicmeats and #sicfish.
We may know people who won't dare to bake because they think it's difficult. On the contrary; it's simple, but it takes time to cook in the oven. Preparing this dish, for example, takes only 15 minutes, but you have to wait a little more than an hour for it to bake well.
We only need to season the chicken with fresh garlic, salt and olive pomace oil; cut the potatoes to our taste, and cut onion and red pepper in julienne strips. Add paprika, salt and some olive pomace oil to the potatoes. Then, we grease a baking tray and place the potatoes with the onions and the red bell pepper first and then the chicken.
Finally, and right before going into the oven, we sprinkle freshly ground black pepper on top. To taste.
After 75 minutes in my electric oven, with heat up and down, at 300 degrees Fahrenheit, my baked chicken with potatoes was ready for our table.
We complemented our meal with sliced avocado and a little wine.
You can leave the fat in the pan or take some to drizzle over the chicken, which is what I do.
This is a very practical and easy dish to prepare, but you should make it at least an hour and a half in advance, so that it cooks very well in the oven; this way the chicken meat will be more tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Wow amiga que buena receta, presentación y fotografías.
El pollo horneado queda muy jugoso y blandito, acompañarlo con papas es muy buena opción.
