Introduction

Hearty salutation to my friends and fellow Steemians in this great Community @steemit-ironchef. I am happy to be part of this Community and also participate in my first contest here. I am @linheart from Nigeria In West Africa. Nice interacting and engaging with friends from different parts of the globe. Indeed steemit has made the world a global village where you can easily meet with, see, read about others. My heartfelt appreciation goes to @roquiro for organizing this contest.

My Soup Of The Week

I will share with you one of my favorite soups which I never misses to prepare every week despite having other soups in the refrigerator.
Mellon is one.

This soup is made with mellon(egwusi), thickener (achi), stockfish, fresh fish and beef. Additionally, you have your fresh vegetables (pumpkin leaf) and seasoning including red oil.
It can be eaten with different kinds of swallow such a garri, fufu, pound yam, semovita, semolina etc, and any other swallow of your choice you can mention.

When all the ingredients are out in place it takes about 45minutes to prepare and get the Soup ready.
After cooking I shared the soup for my kids and that of myself and my husband.
