Have you seen Orange colour Sweet Potatoes before? Maybe not since this breed is kind of rare. So I will tell you some amazing facts about these Orange colour Sweet Potatoes on this Orange Tuesday.

In my language Sweet Potatoes are called "Bathala" and Bathala is a very famous funny nickname in Sri Lanka to call overweight people because of the shape. But I was shocked to know the fact that Sweet Potatoes are one of those best food to control overweight.

As the high percentage of fibers in Sweet Potatoes extends the digestion process, the instant hunger and the need to take calories can be controlled.

Although these yams are very sweet in taste, they surprisingly help to control the blood sugar level. The less percentage of Calories and the high percentage of water are the other things which cause to reduce body weight.

This root vegetable which grow in wines don't need that much care.
As you already know, this yam is so sweet that it can be eaten just by boiling. Sweet Potatoes are used to make curries, puddings, chips and fillings of short eats as well.

My favorite way of eating Sweet Potatoes is boil them and eat with coconut sambol. It's a perfect meal.
