Carrots must be the first thing comes to anyone's mind when that person is asked to name an Orange colour vegetable. As today is Orange Tuesday, let's share some amazing facts about those.

In my country Carrot cultivation can be seen only in the middle province of the country as those need a low temperature to grow well.
I've heard that those cultivation need a proper care otherwise those will get fungus infections.

Carrots are so famous as a rich source of Vitamin A which is good for eyes. This may be why people with poor night eyesight are recommended to eat Carrots.
As the minerals are contained near the peel, it is said not to remove the peel of the roots.

Being a rich source of Carotene vitamin is the reason why this vegetable is named as 'Carrott'. This vitamin is also good for heart problems and skin diseases.

Not only the root, but also the leaves of Carrots are eaten as a vegetable. Carrot leaves salad is a famous dish in my country.
Carrots is one of those vegetable which can be eaten without cooking.
Juice and jams made from Carrots are super delicious.

But my favorite way of eating Carrot is as a curry which is cooked using coconut milk.
