I’m thrilled to share my culinary experience for Daily Menu Delicacies this week, featuring the amazing Chapatti Mahidya! With the rainy weather, there’s nothing better than freshly made chapattis to warm the heart and soul.

Cooking Chapatti Mahidya 🍞

Today, I decided to whip up some Chapatti Mahidya, perfect for enjoying during the monsoon. The soft, warm chapattis pair beautifully with a variety of dishes.

Here’s a glimpse of the gradient chapatti dough before cooking, which has such a beautiful color!

Special Cooking Method 🔥

To enhance the flavor, I used a special gas stove, which makes the chapattis puff up perfectly! The heat is so consistent, allowing for an even cook that results in soft, delicious chapattis every time.

And here’s my finished chapatti! They came out golden brown and soft, ready to be enjoyed with a side of curry or yogurt.

Recipe: Chapati Mahdia

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of flour
  • 300 ml of water
  • 300 ml of milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 7 tsp olive oil
  • For the filling: harissa, tuna, boiled eggs, cheese, olives, etc.

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add the olive oil.
  3. Gradually add the water and milk.
  4. Mix the ingredients well until you obtain a smooth dough.
  5. Let the dough rest for one hour.
  6. Divide the dough into portions.
  7. Roll the dough out thinly.
  8. Form circles.
  9. Add the filling inside the dough and fold the circle closed.

Cook the “chapatti” on a heated pan, turning them on all sides until done.

From what I understand, the problem is that I wrote "Daily Menu Delicacies Week No. 37. Date (09-24-2024) // Delightful Chapatti Mahidya" in the title and also included it in the blog. I have updated and deleted it from the blog, but I read the rules and didn’t see anything forbidden about writing the title twice. By the way, the rules are quite numerous and not very clear for beginners
