Steemit Engagement Challenge S9-W3: "Mother's Delicacies".
Made with canvas
Hello Steemians, I am excited to have you here, reading through my post. I trust you are doing well. Today in this post, I have appreciated my mother, as she is the one who taught me how to cook different varieties of foods.
Tell us about your relationship with this mother, and why did you select her? |
---|
My mother is the person who taught me how to cook different varieties of food right from my childhood. Beside my mother, who taught me about cooking, no other mother has taught me how to cook.
For this reason, I select my mother because her food is the best that I have ever eaten. Oooh Mom, I really missed you and those sweet meals you used to prepare for us.
Thousands of people have missed eating at your restaurant. I can remember how you used to win awards as the best chef of the year. My mom knows how to cook so much. She is blessed in that aspect.
What is her specialty in the kitchen? If you have photographic captures, can you share them or sample images with a source and copyright-free copy? |
---|
Whenever my mom is in the kitchen cooking, she keeps all jokes aside and considerate of her cooking. Her specialty is knowing how to cook, not just what to cook.
When it comes to frying, cooking, baking, and continental dishes, she is an expert in all these various types of food. She spends a lot of time in the kitchen preparing whatever she is cooking, and she likes keeping her cooking ingredients and items neat.
Share some tips and cooking advice from that mother that will help us all. |

Here, I have shared some of her cooking tips and advice that she used to give me with you all below.
Set up your kitchen by gathering clean cooking tools, utensils, and bowls.
Always taste what you are cooking before leaving the kitchen. This will avoid the embarrassment of too much salt.
Always use good oil when cooking. Smell and taste it; this is because if it doesn’t taste good alone, it won’t taste good in your food. This advice has been helpful to me.
Don't start cooking when you're in a sad moment.
Tell us about that food that your mother used to prepare for you when you were a child, and you still remember whether you liked it or not. |

Edikaikong soup is the food my mother used to prepare for me when I was a child. The soup is a real vegetable soup that involves a lot of preparation and ingredients.
It is regarded as one of the best soups in my family. Everyone liked eating the soup because of how delicious it is. Up until this moment, I have liked eating the soup, and my mother is the person who made me like the soup. Oooh, I can picture how she used to cook Edikaikong soup every weekend.
What is that mother's favorite meal, be it breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, drink, or candy? And share with us if she prepares it, or who prepares it or buys it? |
---|
My favorite meal that my mother used to prepare for breakfast is akara and akamu. Very early in the morning, as early as 5 a.m., she would wake up, wash and grind beans, and begin to fry akara, so everyone at home could eat before going to school and work.
Her akara is usually sweet, and each time I am unable to eat it at home, I do take it to school, where my friends like eating it with me. In preparing her akara, she will first wash the beans before taking them to the engine for grinding. She will then mix other ingredients and fry them using vegetable oil.

Los consejos de tu mamá son muy acertados, nada de tener la cocina muy ordenas y los ingredientes a la mano a la hora de cocinar.
