In this challenge, the main focus here is related to the color of the Food, these colors not only add flavor and nutrition to our food but also boost our immune system. We can present these foods with different colors in different ways.


What is the most used color in your meals?

AllahTaala has given different types of food grains, fruits and vegetables for human consumption in this world. We often find all kinds of colors in the foods we usually consume. For example, spinach, gourd greens etc. are green, Red amaranth and watermelon are red, Papaya, ripe mango, and banana are yellow. Oranges, and carrots are orange, brinjals are purple in color and black Berry is purple inside, Radishes are white in color, Dragon fruits are pink and apples, cherries, and strawberries are red. All these colors we get naturally in food, no color needs to be added.

We can eat all these fruits raw or ripe. But there are some vegetables and grains that we have to cook and eat. We have to use some special spices in these cooked foods. Adding these spices to the food not only looks beautiful but also enhances the taste and taste of the food due to these spices.

The world has many types of spices used to flavor and fragrance food. But the two spices that bring variety and color to food are Turmeric and Red chili.

Adding turmeric makes the food look beautiful, it brings color and adding chilli makes the food more beautiful and attractive. In addition, the taste of the chili spicy test food brings the taste of food to the mouth and increases the desire to eat.


So I use turmeric in most of my daily cooking. From fried fish, pulses, bitter gourds, and mixed vegetables, turmeric has to be added to everything.

Turmeric is not just a color it is antibacterial which destroys germs. If you don't give turmeric, it doesn't look good.
Moreover, we add turmeric, Chili, then ginger, garlic and other spices to fish and meat curry and any kind of cooking.

Do you consider that colors in foods represent nutrition?

I think that along with the color of the food, the colors that we add as spices to the food only make the food colorful and represent the taste and nutrition of the food.

Turmeric nutrition

Turmeric does not change the color of food, it is antibacterial and anthelmintic. It contains calories, carbohydrates, manganese, iron and vitamins which are very beneficial for the body. This yellow raw juice is beneficial for the body as well as it has been used in beauty treatments since ages.

Chili nutrition

We eat chili in two ways, raw and dried and powdered.
As green chili increases taste, its nutritional value is also high. It has Vitamin A, C, B6 and K in it and Rich in fiber, minerals and antioxidants that provide many benefits to the body.
And red chili powder we use in any curry.

Apart from cooking, chili and turmeric are also used to prepare various pickles.And turmeric powder is used to make the fish shallow fry and it removes the fishy smell.

What is your favorite color in food?

Yellow

I prefer the yellow spice color to add color to the food and make the food look nice and attractive after cooking. I usually use it in any cooking meal. Without yellow color, the food does not look good. There are usually many foods that just by looking at the color of the food, it seems that the food is delicious.

Shows a meal from the menu of the day and the colors in it.

I will show a picture of a lunch plate from the menu on my day. Here, except for plain rice, I often add turmeric to every dish. Like chichinga bhaji which I made with eggs just added powder and green chillies as masalas.

Another item is small fish charchari and turmeric powder and green chillies and ginger garlic paste.

I added turmeric powder, chili powder and ginger garlic paste to the Hilsa fish.
In each of my recipes, I have used turmeric powder, which has a yellowish tint to it.
