STEEMIT IRON CHEF ACT 1 ROUND 4: Pumpkin Tempura
Greetings Steemit Iron Chef. I am glad that I caught this round 4. Grateful @progressivechef for giving great ideas on how to produce beautiful products. And for dropping comment on my last entry. I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
Pumpkins are one of the delicious and nutritious vegetables. Today I'm going to make Pumpkin Tempura and I'm going to mix it with shirasu (juvenile sardines) to make it unique and exciting.
Ingredients:
400 grams pumpkin
2 bunches of parsley
1 cup of tempura flour
50 grams of shirasu
2 eggs
1 cup of icy water
1 teaspoon of pepper powder
cooking oil
Procedures
- Wash the pumpkin and parsley and let it dry.
- Cut the pumpkin into thin slices.
- Chop the parsley very thinly.
- Combine flour, eggs, shirasu, pepper powder and a cup of icy water.
- Whisk until the mixture totally combined.
- Heat cooking oil in a pan.
- Dip the pumpkin in the flour mixture and fry.
- Flip to other side until cooked and done.
