"Recipe of the Day, Week No. 28: (Groundnut oil rice with fried plantain )"

My week recipe is groundnut oil with fried plantain. It a fast and simple recipe, si follow me as I begin.
🌸 Rice 🌸 Groundnut oil 🌸 Crayfish 🌸 Salt 🌸 Onion 🌸Curry powder 💮ripe plantain 🌸seasoning cubes 💮scent leaf 🌸 Pepper
Preparation
Use a pitch of salt and cool water, wash the rice 2-3times before parboiling. As the pot is yet to boil.
Wash the plantain very well to afford sand coming incontact with the fruit. Peel it out and cut into smaller shapes.
- Sprinkle a little salt on it. Heat groundnut oil and fry the plantain. Be careful for it not to get burnt. When you're done with the frying, turn the groundnut oil into the pot that will be use in cooking the rice.
- Add a little curry powder in the oil, slice onions, pepper, salt, grinded crayfish, seasoning cubes, 7-12 scent leaf and fry for 1minute.
Then pour in the parboiled rice, stir, add water to your desire, add small crayfish but not grinded and stir everything together.
- Allow the pot to boiled till the water in the rice dries off. Check on the pot and off the light. The Groundnut oil rice is ready.
The recipe is a light recipe that can be taken as breakfast, lunch or dinner. All depends on individual choice of making.

When it is over ripe, it's can be eaten raw just like any other fruit. It can also be used to bake. Plantains are a good source of vitamin B6 and Vitamin C. Plantain are good immune system booster. They improve heart health. It's serves as antioxidant that help fight the body against free radicals.
Rice is an excellent source of fiber. Rice offer essential vitamins and minerals in the body including, folic acid, selenium, iron, potassium, magnesium and zinc. Eating a fiber food like rice, can lower the cholesterol and risk of heart health in an individual.
