Weekly Contest - Best Diary Game | Climbing a hill(Video included)

After eating my breakfast I visited @disconnect to check for contest on steemit I could participate in. I saw this contest in a certain community about my favourite winter outfit and decided to jump on it. I wore my winter jacket and asked my roommate to snap me a picture for the contest which he did.

Unfortunately the competition was already over and winners had been announced when I decided to take a second look at it. It was not all bad because while taking the pictures I saw the hill behind me and decided to hike it. I have been procrastinating for too long and today I would take that bold step and climb this bill.

embarked on this thrilling adventure. We left the house and went our way towards the hill, because it was our first time going there we actually lost our way but were able to get back on track. It was an uphill task climbing this hill but I was able to get to the top and my gosh the view was eccentric. Everything was below us, we could see the rooftops of houses and fog over trees. The vegetation was awesome, I couldn't help but appreciate nature for such a beautiful gift. You can watch the video of my adventure below 👇

We stayed there from noon till evening and got the opportunity to watch the sunset, it was just peace and quiet. Far away from the noise of the world below us and up in the embrace of nature.
I honestly did not want to leave and when I finally had to leave I promised to be coming here more often to enjoy this serenity.

Finding our way back was very easy, from the top of the hill we could see the pathways back to a road that leads to our house. We followed that steep path, I kicked my foot against a stone along the way and had to be careful so I do not fall as that would injure me badly.

On reaching the house I was tired so I drank plenty water at first before resting to catch my breath. I and my roommate went outside to buy okpa to eat as it was too late to cook anything. We came back and I used garri to eat mine.

I can say that yesterday was very wonderful as I had the opportunity to have so much fun and to complete my first adventure. I am also delighted to share this with you all.
