Sorghum can also be cultivated on light kalrathi soil.
Flatness of land for millet cultivation is a guarantee of good yield.
If the soil was not plowed in the previous crop, it should be loosened and loosened by plowing once with a plow and cultivator twice.
In rainfed areas, two bags of nitrophos fertilizer is recommended at the time of land preparation before sowing

The per acre production of millet in Pakistan is low compared to other countries, in which there is room for further increase.
By adopting advanced varieties of seeds and modern cultivation methods, the production can be increased many times.
Sorghum can be grown successfully on light and heavy mira land.
Sorghum plant can tolerate excess of salinity to some extent, but soil with high color and clay is not suitable for sorghum cultivation.
A soil with good drainage is suitable.
Birds cause a lot of damage to the millet crop, so it should not be cultivated in fields where there are many trees or the trees should be pruned well.
